JKA Scotland brown and black belt members came together on Saturday 7th September 2019 at Dunfermline High School, where we all took part in our twice yearly 3-hour kata course under the watchful eye and exceptional instruction of Sensei Ohta, 7th Dan JKA. From Thursday 23rd May to Monday 27th May 2019, the JKA Scotland Junior squad were in Kadan, Czech Republic, to participate in this year's JKA Junior European Championships.

JKA Scotland 2018 National Gasshuku

The eagerly anticipated JKA Scotland Gasshuku 2018 was held at Dunfermline High School on 19th, 20th and 21st October. Karate-ka were treated to an exceptional nine hours of tuition from Imura Sensei 8th Dan JKA, Ohta Sensei 7th Dan JKA and Kurihara Sensei 5th Dan JKA. For more information please follow the link


JKA Scotland Special May Course 2018

On one of the warmest days of the year so far, with a royal wedding and a couple of football cup finals to compete with, JKA Scotland presented the Annual Special May Course and grading with Ohta Sensei 7th Dan JKA. As usual our JKA Scotland members didnít let us down and turned up in their droves to support the event on Saturday 19th May 2018 at Dunfermline High School.
